As Commis Chef for Magic Table you will play an integral part in bringing our new immersive dining experience to life.

The role surrounds food preparation and service, working under the guidance of senior chefs to ensure consistency, quality, and creativity in every dish. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in culinary arts within a luxury hotel setting.

The working hours for this position are Wednesday to Sunday, 3pm to 10pm.

Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients and executing dishes to the highest standards across multiple outlets.

Mise en Place: Ensure your station is well-stocked, organised, and ready for service, contributing to smooth kitchen operations.

Learning & Development: Actively engage in training, absorbing new techniques, and seeking feedback to improve your culinary skills.

Compliance & Hygiene: Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and company policies.

Team Support: Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen porters, contributing to a positive and productive kitchen culture.

Equipment Care: Keep tools and workstations clean and well-maintained, supporting overall kitchen efficiency.

About You

Basic experience in a professional kitchen or culinary training

Understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene standards

Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Experience Preferred

Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant

Exposure to London-based hospitality operations and UK food safety standards

Level 1 or 2 Food Safety certification
