At The Lygon Arms, an enchanting 600-year-old coaching inn in Broadway, we are transforming our dining experiences through an exhilarating new partnership with the renowned Chef James Martin. With the launch of The Grill and Tavern in March 2023, we are poised to become the leading culinary destinations in the Cotswolds. This initiative builds on Chef Martin and his team's outstanding success at our sister hotel, Chewton Glen in Hampshire, where they created an award-winning menu for The Kitchen Restaurant & Cookery School since its inception in 2017.

Key Responsibilities

• To assist in the preparation, cooking and service of food for guests and team members under the supervision of the Senior Kitchen Team.
• To take pride in high standards of specified work in accordance with the Head Chef's instructions.
• To prepare, cook and serve food delegated as your responsibility, ensuring high quality and presentation under guidance from a Senior Chef.
• To work as part of a team in a constructive manner that enables the hotel to achieve its objective of being a market leader in the luxury hotel sector.

What We’re Looking For

• A foundation food preparation qualification, or we are happy to support and assist you with studying for an Apprenticeship with our recognised training providers.
• A genuine interest in food and enthusiasm for creating good food.
• A willingness to work hard in a busy environment.
• Good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
