Butlin's in Minehead is offering a Commis Chef – Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship. You’ll be paid while you learn and achieve a nationally recognised qualification, while learning to prepare and cook dishes to a consistent standard and to handle allergens safely.

You’ll work in our kitchen alongside experienced chefs, gaining skills across venues and menus. Previous experience isn’t essential; enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are key.

Description

As a Chef with us, you'll be joining our kitchen team on a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship. This means you'll be paid while you learn, gaining a nationally recognised qualification at the same time. You'll learn how to prepare and cook dishes to a consistent standard, work safely with food and allergens, and help a kitchen to run smoothly. Most of your learning happens right here in our kitchens, working alongside experienced chefs you'll build the skills and confidence to take the next step in your cooking career.

At Butlins, dining is a huge part of the holiday experience. As one of our chefs, you'll help create memorable moments through fantastic food.

We believe variety is the spice of life, and you'll get plenty of it here. We serve up everything from American-style favourites and traditional fish and chips to chargrilled chicken and pub classics. We're also home to Europe's only Papa Johns pizza buffet!

You'll support the smooth running of the kitchen by preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining excellent food hygiene standards and helping deliver an amazing experience for our guests. Along the way, you'll be able to build your skills and confidence, while working alongside talented chefs across a range of venues and menus.

Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential. What matters most is enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
