Warner Hotels is seeking a Coffee Shop Commis Chef at Gunton Hall Coastal Village. You will work with our Retail team, assisting with food preparation and maintaining high standards in a busy kitchen.

You’ll learn from experienced chefs, develop culinary skills, and contribute to delivering high-quality daytime dining experiences for our guests. This role offers training and progression within Warner Hotels.

Join our team at Gunton Hall, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 212-bedroom coastal hotel has a rural feel, surrounded by Suffolk woodland, gardens, a lake, and pitch-and-putt course.

Up to £13.21 per hour (dependent on your age)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Coffee Shop Commis Chef to join our team at Warner Hotels. As part of our supportive Retail team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional daytime food offering experiences for our guests. Working alongside our experienced chefs, you'll assist with food preparation, maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, and support the smooth running of the Coffee Shop kitchen operation. As a Commis Chef, you'll have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills, learn from a talented team, and contribute to creating high-quality dishes that delight our guests at Warner Hotels.

What will I be doing?

As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food in our kitchens, contributing to maintaining the kitchen and food safety standards, managing stock and working in a clean and tidy environment. You'll need to understand basic food hygiene practices, whilst working in a team where you will be supported and developed.
