Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Commis Chef in London, offering a 40-hour week with alternating shifts and early finish Fridays. The role focuses on food preparation in a busy kitchen serving 800–1,500 people.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
• Desirable: around 1 year in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients for service and production.
• Chop, peel, wash and portion ingredients as required.
• Support the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie with daily food production.
• Follow recipes, specifications and instructions from senior chefs.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and HACCP.
