Overview

We are excited to announce that we have Commis Chef roles available in our Colmans and Terrace restaurants within our flagship Newcastle store!

We are hiring for the following roles;

• Colmans - 16 hours per week - 3 month fixed-term contract
• Colmans - 40 hours per week - 3 month fixed-term contract
• EL&N - 40 hours per week - 3 month fixed-term contract
• The Terrace - 36.5 hours per week - permanent contract

Unlike many roles in hospitality, our roles do not include late night working giving a rare and much sought after, work life balance.

Please note that roles in The Terrace are not eligible for Service Charge.

What do we look for?

• Previous experience in hospitality as a Commis, Demi Chef or Chef de Partie is preferable.
• A proven track record in producing high-quality restaurant food is essential.
• Excellent skills and product knowledge as well as awareness of food trends.
• Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous ways of working.
• Passionate about food with the aptitude to learn and adapt to new and different ways of working.
