Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow is seeking a Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You will assist in preparing food items, ensure dishes meet quality standards, and maintain knowledge of the menu.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing food items, ensuring dishes are prepared promptly and meet quality standards.
• Maintain good knowledge of the menu.
• Minimise food and energy wastage through proper control methods and ensure equipment is turned off when not in use.
• Keep kitchen equipment in good working order and report any equipment issues to the senior chef.
• Ensure kitchen is set up prior to service and all areas have required equipment and products.
• Utilise all relevant systems correctly to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to policies, Code of Conduct, and Health and Safety regulations, including hygiene, COSHH and HACCP.
• Complete any other reasonable requests from management or supervisors.
