Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items across cafe and catering services
  • Support senior chefs in daily mise en place and service operations
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
  • Contribute to the smooth running of kitchen operations through teamwork and clear communication
  • Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and basic record keeping
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen required
  • Strong foundational skills in food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and health & safety best practices
  • Positive attitude, good communication, and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Bakery or pastry experience is a strong plus— we’d love someone who enjoys baking, experimenting with doughs, and assisting with our house-made breads and pastries
