The Beefy Boys in Exeter is seeking a Commis Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will support the kitchen team with prep, assist with cooking, and help maintain cleanliness and organisation across the station.

We value eagerness to learn, a passion for great burgers, and the ability to work calmly under pressure while delivering consistent quality and great tasting dishes.

What You’ll Need:

• Team Player: You’ll work alongside the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and the rest of the kitchen crew to keep everything running smoothly. Whether it’s prepping ingredients, assisting with cooking, or making sure your station is clean, you’ll be an important part of the team.
• Eagerness to Learn: This is a great place to start your kitchen career! You’ll be ready to pick up new skills, learn how to perfect each dish, and get hands-on in the kitchen, all while working alongside experienced chefs.
• Passion for Food: You’ll help create amazing burgers and take pride in making sure everything is cooked and assembled just right. You’re committed to quality and always aim to deliver great food.
• Attention to Detail: Whether you’re following recipes, managing cooking times, or making sure everything is prepped correctly, you’ll help ensure that every plate that leaves your station is perfect.
• Ingredient Knowledge: You’ll assist with managing ingredients and making sure everything you need is stocked and ready to go. You’ll learn the ins and outs of ingredient handling and help keep the kitchen organized.
• Get It Done Attitude: It’s a busy, fast‑paced kitchen, and you’ll need to keep your cool when things heat up. If you’re someone who thrives under pressure and is excited to grow in a kitchen environment, we want you on our team!
