Job summary

Buxton Crescent invites applications for a Commis Chef to join our prestigious kitchen team. The role supports our chefs with food preparation to ensure the smooth running of service and a positive dining experience for guests.

You will prepare hot and cold dishes to Champneys standards and assist across breakfast, lunch and dinner, while maintaining high hygiene and teamwork with other departments. This full‑time position offers a competitive salary (£26,436.80 plus tips) and the chance to

• Preparing and presenting all hot and cold food items from the main kitchen to the agreed Champneys standards.
• To support all meal periods; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
• To gain a working knowledge of the Champneys Healthy Eating Philosophy.
• Maintain a high standard of work at all times.
• To keep all kitchen and work areas clean and tidy at all times and observing all food handling regulations and requirements.
• Maintain clear communication between the Kitchen and other Departments.
