Job summary

Champneys is seeking a kitchen support team member to assist chefs with food preparation and service. You will help with breakfast, lunch and dinner, ensuring all dishes meet Champneys standards and reflect the healthy eating philosophy.

Maintain high cleanliness, clear kitchen communications, and contribute to a positive dining experience for guests. You will work in a role that supports the main kitchen, with benefits and wellbeing initiatives typical of Champneys’ wellbeing brand and group.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and presenting hot and cold foods to standard.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present hot and cold food items from the main kitchen to Champneys standards.
• Support all meal periods: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Job description

Your main responsibility will be to support our chefs with food preparation to ensure the smooth running of service and provide a positive dining experience to our guests. Some of the responsibilities include;

• Preparing and presenting all hot and cold food items from the main kitchen to the agreed Champneys standards.
• To support all meal periods; Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
• To gain a working knowledge of the Champneys Healthy Eating Philosophy.
• Maintain a high standard of work at all times.
• To keep all kitchen and work areas clean and tidy at all times and observing all food handling regulations and requirements.
• Maintain clear communication between the Kitchen and other Departments.
