Ideal candidates will support the Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent hygiene standards. The position offers a £35,000 package, excellent training opportunities, and up to 20 complimentary nights at any Four Seasons Hotels worldwide. Shift flexibility required.

Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join the Pavyllon team.

Chef Alléno is one of France’s most acclaimed and innovative chefs with 17 Michelin stars across his nineteen restaurants. He has featured in The World’s 50 best restaurants reaching up to 25th for both Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc in Courchevel and Pavillon Ledoyen in Paris. Our restaurant is contemporary and creative while embodying Chef Alléno’s philosophy of Modern French cuisine. Our dishes are rooted in French gastronomy and techniques while the chef takes inspiration from London and British produce to deliver a truly modern dining experience.

The role

The role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our talented team at the bar. As a Commis Chef, you will support the Chef de Partie in ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to the seamless operation of the kitchen.

What you will do
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your designated section.
  • Ensure all food is consistently prepared to the standards expected at Pavyllon.
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in accordance with Four Seasons’ standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members, fostering a positive and professional environment.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering as required.
  • Adapt to changing menus and seasonal ingredients with enthusiasm.
What you bring
  • A passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences with a keen eye for detail.
  • Either experience in a kitchen or a culinary school diploma.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive and collaborative attitude, with a desire to grow and develop within the team.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
