We are seeking a creative and experienced Writer/Director for our remote digital video team to produce long‑form physics, mathematics, and engineering content.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop accurate, engaging stories by tracing ideas back to scientific papers and original sources.
• Write and edit scripts that align with the visual direction and overall content goals.
• Stay up to date on new research, scientific discoveries, and advancements in the field.
• Develop and execute a production schedule, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Create storyboards, shot lists, and scripts to guide the production process.
• Manage all aspects of production—including post‑production and distribution—to optimize content for YouTube and other social‑media platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in long‑form or feature science communication, ideally with knowledge of science‑you‑tube content.
• Portfolio that showcases writing ability, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Strong project‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality content that meets the standards of the YouTube channel.
