Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring all work meets compliance standards.
• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced LCV or HGV Technician to join a forward-thinking commercial vehicle business during an exciting phase of growth. With a brand-new, purpose-built workshop being developed and demand continuing to rise, the business is investing heavily in its staff and facilities. This role will be tailored to the individual — whether you prefer a workshop-based position or a mobile role, you’ll be joining a company that values skill, initiative, and long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of LCVs or HGVs
• Performing diagnostics and fault-finding using the latest technology
• Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring all work meets compliance standards
• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism

Requirements

• Qualified LCV or HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)

Rewards

• Salary: £15–£19 per hour DOE (£35,000–£45,000pa)
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x rate
• Holidays: 21 days plus bank holidays
• Private healthcare
• Hours (Workshop): Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am–12pm
• Hours (Mobile): Monday–Friday, choice of 5am–2pm or 6am–3pm (up to £18ph max)
