Overview

VANRATH have partnered with a global car dealership and manufacturer. The organisation is recruiting for a Sales Manager position to cover the Commercial Vehicle team. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.

The successful candidate will have proven Sales Manager experience and will lead a team to meet and exceed all relevant KPIs and provide an effective financial solution for a range of customers through supporting and developing Business Managers. You\'ll maximise opportunities on new and used car sales, and support products across the CMA.

Mallusk, Newtownabbey

Salary
Negotiable basic + OTE earnings + Company Car + Fantastic benefits (industry leading), company pension scheme, 30 days holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and other KPIs on new and used CV sales
  • Maximise opportunities to provide value-added sales for customers
  • Help the Sales team maximise profitability on all new vehicles and associated sales opportunities
  • Give the diverse customer base a positive impression of themselves and the company, while delivering a positive customer experience, in line with company standards
  • Anticipate and identify customer needs, and meet and exceed them by relationship building and taking responsibility for resolving customer issues and delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Work with customers to the highest ethical and professional standards to build long-term profitable relationships
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and communicate this appropriately with customers
  • Grow and develop a Sales team in line with the company ethos.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 years+ experience in a similar management role within the motor trade
  • Franchised car dealership experience
  • Ability to coach the team to achieve potential as individuals as a team
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
  • IT literacy (essential)
  • High level of written and verbal communication
  • Proven track record delivering finance and insurance income within the sector
