Job summary

Halfords Commercial Fleet Services (HCFS) is recruiting for a Commercial Tyre Technician. The role covers tyres for cars, vans, trucks and industrial equipment, servicing roadside and depot work, with an emphasis on customer service and accurate paperwork.

Employees receive a van, tools, PPE, and an uncapped bonus scheme. Typical hours are Monday to Friday with Saturday shifts, and careers offer progression within the HCFS network of Halfords.

Qualifications

• REACT Licence to work safely at the roadside.
• Possess a full, current driving licence.
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar.
• Willing and able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit/repair tyres including car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover – roadside & in depot.
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job sheets.

• £40,000 - £60,000 OTE (comprising of salary, bonus, overtime & callout rates)
• Uncapped bonus scheme, including Overtime & Call-out rates
• Mobile role – Van, Tools & PPE provided
• Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00, Saturday 08.00 – 12.00
