Commercial Transformation Project Manager

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced commercial professional to drive the transformation of our systems and processes across our business in collaboration with our Technology and Digital Services Team (TDS), with a particular focus on the optimization of our revenue and contract management processes initially and broadening to additional activities in time.

This role will be pivotal in optimising commercial performance, modernising systems and workflows, and supporting the long-term value creation of our renewable energy portfolio.

The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in revenue and contract management as well as rounded commercial experience, with a track record of delivering business transformation and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive transformation initiatives to modernise the Commercial team’s systems and processes, collaborating with TDS, Finance and Technical teams as required.
  • Support the development and successful implementation of the Commercial team’s Contract Lifecycle Management tool.
  • Support with ongoing revenue management of the portfolio on an ongoing basis to enable the provision of accurate regular reporting.
  • Support the automation of revenue management calculations across all countries that WiseEnegy operates in including Spain, Portugal, Poland, Italy, UK, US and Chile. Other countries may be required in time.
  • Analyse performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices.
  • Manage and deliver cross-functional projects focused on Commercial’s transformation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Support in the preparation of assets for sale, in particular our NextPower III portfolio.
  • Prepare and present reports, business cases, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Provide guidance and training to teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of commercial strategies with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of digital tools and platforms to enhance commercial operations.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Science or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Commercial Analyst / Commercial Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successful improving commercial systems, processes and ways of working. Prior experience in a major change programme or transformation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of revenue management, contracts and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with data visualisation and manipulation is advantageous.
  • Problem‑Solving: Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion, with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing business needs and technological advancements.
