We help unlock value through a start-up mindset and modern methods, fusing strategy, consulting, and customer experience with agile engineering and problem-solving creativity. United by our core values and our purpose of helping people thrive in the brave pursuit of next, our 20,000+ people in 53 offices around the world combine experience across technology, data sciences, consulting, and customer obsession to accelerate our clients’ businesses through designing the products and services their customers truly value.

Overview

Role Overview As a Commercial Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing pricing and commercial strategies across our services and software product portfolio. You will partner closely with account management, sales, finance, and product teams to structure, model, and negotiate complex commercial propositions that drive profitability and client value. You will help evolve our commercial strategy as we increasingly integrate software-based solutions into our services portfolio, balancing recurring revenue models with client‑value alignment.

This role sits at the intersection of services and product strategy — ideal for someone experienced in pricing both professional services and software-based solutions. It requires a strategic mindset, strong financial acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced, client‑centric environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with account, sales, and product teams to develop optimal pricing and commercial structures tailored to client needs and business objectives.
  • Develop and refine pricing models for software and digital product offerings, including subscription-based, usage-based, and hybrid models.
  • Lead financial modelling efforts, including pro forma P&L creation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing for complex deals.
  • Evaluate and articulate the financial and strategic implications of commercial terms, pricing models, and contract structures.
  • Guide deals through internal governance and approval processes, ensuring alignment with financial and strategic goals.
  • Support negotiation strategy development and execution, providing commercial insights and pricing guidance to account teams.
  • Maintain and enhance internal pricing tools, databases, and knowledge repositories to support scalable deal structuring.
  • Conduct lifecycle financial reviews of contracts, including renewals, annual adjustments, and ad‑hoc commercial changes.
  • Partner with finance, product and strategy teams to assess market trends, competitor pricing, and client behaviour to inform pricing strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial playbooks, pricing frameworks, and best practices for service and product offerings.
  • Provide thought leadership on pricing innovation, value‑based pricing, and commercial optimisation in the services and software industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in commercial strategy, pricing, financial analysis, or deal structuring—ideally within a services, consulting, or SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing pricing strategies for complex service and/or software product offerings (e.g., SaaS, digital platforms, or technology solutions), with knowledge of software licensing, subscription economics, and value‑based pricing frameworks
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, P&L analysis, and commercial contract structures.
  • Exceptional Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and scenario modelling; VBA proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience navigating complex approval processes and governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CRM and pricing tools (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ platforms) is advantageous.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment with competing priorities.
Additional information
  • An inclusive workplace that promotes diversity and collaboration.
  • Access to ongoing learning and development opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Flexibility to support work‑life balance.
  • Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family.
  • Generous paid leave and holidays.
  • Wellness program and employee assistance.
