Commercial Contracts Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Manchester

A leading national firm with a Tier 1-ranked Commercial practice is seeking an ambitious Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join its Manchester team. This is an opportunity to advise major clients on complex, high-value projects across multiple sectors, while developing your expertise within one of the UK's most highly regarded commercial groups.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising major corporates on high-value commercial contracts: Working with FTSE 100 companies and household-name brands across retail, consumer, technology, industrials, financial services, and digital sectors. Advising on the drafting, negotiation, and management of commercial agreements and outsourcing projects.
• Delivering strategic commercial advice: Helping clients manage contractual risk, navigate regulatory challenges, and achieve operational transformation through innovative and practical legal solutions.
• Working across diverse, high-profile projects: Supporting senior lawyers on large-scale outsourcing and technology transactions, while running your own portfolio of commercial matters with increasing autonomy.
• Collaborating nationally: Joining a national team that works seamlessly across offices, advising on complex cross-border arrangements and international projects.
• Contributing to growth and innovation: Supporting business development initiatives, thought leadership, and internal knowledge sharing within one of the country's most forward-thinking commercial practices.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE in commercial law
• Experience advising on a range of commercial contracts, outsourcing, or technology-related matters
• Strong commercial acumen and client-handling skills
• Interest in technology, digital transformation, and data-driven projects
• Excellent communicator with a proactive, solutions-led approach
