What you'll do

• Provide expert advice on a broad spectrum of commercial contracts, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions
• Draft, review, and negotiate high-value supply and purchasing agreements across various sectors
• Advise on agency and distribution arrangements
• Deliver guidance on IT agreements and intellectual property licensing arrangements
• Offer practical advice on data protection matters
• Engage actively in business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and contributing to the firm's growth strategy
• Participate in leadership activities such as supervising junior team members, sharing knowledge through mentoring, and engaging in wider firm initiatives
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments
• Stay abreast of industry trends and legal developments to ensure your advice remains current and commercially relevant

What you bring

• Hold at least 6 years' post-qualification experience gained within a City or large regional law firm specialising in commercial law
• Demonstrate strong technical proficiency across commercial contracts, intellectual property matters, IT agreements, and data protection issues
• Exhibit dedication to delivering exceptional client service through clear communication and empathetic engagement
• Possess proven experience in networking and business development activities aimed at expanding client portfolios
• Bring an appetite for participating in leadership roles such as team supervision or involvement in firm-wide projects
