Job summary

Vibrant Recruits Ltd in the South East is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to cover Sussex, Kent and Surrey. The role runs 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours) with plenty of overtime during the summer, and a focus on quality service rather than rapid-fire jobs.

You’ll service, fault-find, install and modify commercial refrigeration systems, support on-site customers, and collaborate with the engineering team to diagnose faults and keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and get systems running.
• Willingness to work across Sussex, Kent and Surrey.
• CO₂ experience would be a great bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems.
• Fault finding and breakdown work.
• Installation and system alterations.
• Working on a wide variety of commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Supporting customers on site and providing a professional service.
• Diagnosing faults properly and getting systems running correctly.
• Working closely with the wider engineering team when technical support is needed.
