Pertemps is looking for a motivated Trainee Commercial Recruitment Consultant to join our Gloucester team. This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in recruitment, gain commercial insight, and develop your skills in a supportive, fast‑paced environment.

Salary: £25,397– £26,397 + uncapped commission

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30 & 08:30–17:30

Location: Elmbridge Court, Gloucester

As a Trainee Commercial Recruitment Consultant at Pertemps, you’ll work with a variety of commercial clients, developing relationships, matching candidates to roles, and contributing to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates across all stages of recruitment
  • Match candidates to commercial roles, ensuring satisfaction for both clients and candidates
  • Support payroll, compliance, and pre-employment checks accurately
  • Identify new business opportunities and support service delivery
  • Contribute to achieving branch and individual targets through proactive service
To be successful
  • Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in a customer‑facing or sales role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
  • Knowledge of employee rights, equality, diversity, and inclusion is a plus
  • Ideally, a valid UK driving licence
