Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join the Real Estate team in Cardiff, offering exposure to high-quality public and private sector work across investors, government bodies, social housing providers, the NHS, developers, banks, occupiers and charities.

This role provides hands-on experience with high-value transactions, opportunities to develop client relationships within a supportive and ambitious team, and a hybrid working pattern with a competitive salary of £50,000

Qualifications

• 1-5 years PQE in commercial property or real estate.
• Experience at a reputable national or regional firm.
• Strong technical competence and a commercial approach.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex matters clearly.
• Professional, collaborative and proactive with client-facing focus.

Responsibilities

• Support and/or lead on purchases, sales and acquisitions.
• Draft, review and negotiate leases, licences, transfers and related docs.
• Advise on mixed-use development matters.
• Undertake due diligence including title review and searches.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors and third-party professionals.
• Obtain indemnity insurance quotes and liaise with brokers.
• Conduct legal research and prepare reports.
• Attend client meetings and all-party discussions.
• Participate in business development and client engagement.
