Commercial Property Solicitor - Essex

Overview

This L500 rated Essex firm seeks a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their busy and expanding team in Colchester. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a varied caseload and contribute to the continued success of one of the region's leading firms.

Responsibilities

• Providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial property transactions including:
  • Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property
  • Property development and strategic land projects
  • Commercial landlord and tenant matters (leases, renewals, break clauses)
  • Portfolio and estate management
• Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and ancillary documents
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Contributing to business development initiatives

About you

• Qualified solicitor with 2+ years' experience in commercial property
• Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions, lease negotiations, and landlord / tenant issues
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
