Job summary
Roberts & Prowse (Swindon) Ltd is seeking a qualified Plumber & Pipework Fitter to undertake mechanical plumbing and pipework in commercial environments around Oxfordshire and Reading. You will install, service, and maintain systems, document work, supervise site activity, and order parts when needed.
The role requires time-served experience, NVQ Level 2, a full driving licence, and a track record in commercial plant rooms with a focus on quality and safety. Competitive benefits provided.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing.
- NVQ Level 2 certificate.
- Proficient commercial plumbing and pipework fitting.
- Experience in commercial plant rooms.
- Full driving licence required.
- CSCS card desirable, IPAF/DBS advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing and pipework installation work as required by the company.
- Carry out servicing and pre-planned maintenance tasks.
- Complete Field Service Reports and other documents as requested.
- Supervise all aspects of jobs on site, including labour and materials.
- Meet all deadlines and keep accurate job records.
- Order parts in absence of Senior Managers.
- Ensure high standards and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Liaise with managers on safety concerns and faulty equipment.
