Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is partnering with a family-owned construction and property maintenance business that has delivered planned and reactive building services across Central London for over 20 years. They are recruiting a Commercial Plumbing Engineer to join the team on a mobile basis, covering London.

The role pays £50,000–£65,000 (depending on experience) and is a full-time, permanent position. You will install, repair and maintain commercial plumbing systems, diagnose faults, perform 1st and

Qualifications

• Time served, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in gas and plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of commercial heating systems.
• ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1.
• Unvented (G3), Confined Spaces, Safe Isolation and Multimeter training desirable, or willingness to work towards them.
• Valid CSCS card and clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems on commercial and domestic sites.
• Diagnosing and fixing faults across a wide range of systems and appliances.
• Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix work, testing and commissioning.
• Building good relationships with customers and subcontractors.
• Mentoring apprentices and helping raise standards across the team.
