Job description

We’re On the Beach! Since 2003, we've been rewriting the rules of how people discover, book, and experience their perfect getaway. What started as connecting people to short-haul beach holidays has evolved into something much bigger - premium beach destinations, long-haul adventures, and vibrant city breaks – and that’s just the beginning of our story.

We send around two million holidaymakers on their dream breaks every year. And we're still growing.

Powered by our deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit, proprietary tech, curiosity and our incredible people, we’re accelerating - delivering best in class technology, the ultimate holiday app, and experiences that keep our customers coming back for more.

Ready to build the future of travel with us?

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded Partnerships Manager to join the On the Beach Partnerships team. This is a highly relationship-focused and sales-led role, responsible for developing and growing partnerships with key accounts across our hotelier and tourism board network. You’ll play a key role in securing impactful marketing campaigns that deliver measurable value and return on investment for our partners, while driving incremental revenue for On the Beach.

You’ll manage a portfolio of strategic partners, identify new commercial opportunities and work closely with teams across the wider business to bring campaigns to life. From the initial sales conversation through to campaign delivery, performance reporting and renewal, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships and ensuring our partnerships deliver against both commercial and marketing objectives.

What you’ll be doing day to day
  • Drive partnership revenue by identifying, developing and securing new commercial opportunities across hotelier and tourism board accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, becoming a trusted commercial contact and understanding their business and marketing objectives.

  • Develop and sell integrated marketing campaigns across On the Beach's channels, including SEO, CRM, Paid Media, onsite, social, content, video and other performance marketing opportunities.

  • Manage the full partnership journey from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation, campaign delivery, performance reporting and renewal.

  • Work towards and consistently deliver against individual and team revenue targets and KPIs.

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling and strategic partnership opportunities.

  • Work collaboratively with teams across the wider business including Marketing, Trading, Supply, CRM, Social, Product and Creative to deliver partner campaigns.

  • Ensure campaigns are commercially viable, well organised and delivered to a high standard and on time.

  • Take ownership of partner performance and return on investment, ensuring campaigns are designed around clear objectives and measurable outcomes.

  • Analyse campaign performance and customer data to demonstrate ROI, reach, engagement, bookings, revenue and other agreed KPIs to partners. Create and present compelling results and performance reports that clearly demonstrate the value delivered from partner investment.

  • Use campaign insights and results to identify further opportunities, secure repeat investment and grow partner accounts.

  • Keep accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, activity and revenue within relevant systems.

  • Contribute to the wider Partnerships strategy, helping identify new products, opportunities and ways of generating incremental revenue.

  • Represent On the Beach at industry events, partner meetings, trade shows and overseas visits, building our profile and strengthening relationships.

You’ll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge and experience
Commercial & sales skills
  • Proven experience in a sales, account management, partnerships or commercial role.

  • Strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for selling and achieving targets.

  • Confident prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing opportunities.

  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities and turn them into compelling partnership proposals. Comfortable discussing budgets, investment, ROI and commercial performance with senior stakeholders.

  • A strong understanding of how marketing activity can deliver measurable commercial results. Resilient, proactive and motivated by achieving — and exceeding — targets.

Marketing & digital experience
  • Marketing experience across a range of digital and performance marketing channels, with a good understanding of how each channel can support different partner objectives.

  • Experience or strong knowledge across SEO, CRM, Paid Media and Performance Marketing.

  • Understanding of digital campaign performance, customer journeys, conversion and attribution.

  • Ability to translate marketing channels and performance data into commercial opportunities and compelling partner propositions.

  • Experience working with or selling integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Travel industry experience is preferred, particularly within travel, tourism, hospitality, airlines, hotels or destinations. A good understanding of the travel customer journey and the role that digital marketing plays in driving consideration, bookings and passenger growth.

Relationship management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and working with senior contacts.

  • Able to understand a partner's objectives and translate them into effective marketing solutions.

  • A natural networker who enjoys meeting new people and representing the business.

  • Able to build relationships based on trust, transparency and demonstrable results. Organisation & delivery Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to manage multiple accounts, campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to take ownership from initial opportunity through to delivery and results.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to keep internal teams and external partners aligned.

  • Personality & mindset Commercially hungry, ambitious and motivated to succeed.

  • Proactive rather than reactive someone who looks for opportunities rather than waiting for them.

  • Collaborative and comfortable working across a wider business.

  • Confident, enthusiastic and able to represent the On the Beach brand professionally.

  • Willing and able to travel in the UK and internationally for partner meetings, events and business development opportunities.

  • A team player who is happy to get stuck in and contribute beyond their own accounts.

  • Passionate about travel, partnerships and creating great experiences for our customers and partners.

What success looks like
  • Success in this role will be measured through: Delivery against partnership revenue and commercial targets.

  • Growth of existing hotelier and tourism board accounts.

  • New partnerships and incremental revenue secured.

  • Demonstrable ROI delivered for partners.

  • Quality and effectiveness of campaigns delivered.

  • Partner satisfaction, retention and repeat investment.

  • Ability to use performance data and insights to strengthen relationships and identify further commercial opportunities.

  • Strong relationships across both external partners and the wider On the Beach business.

  • Consistent, accurate and well-organised account and campaign management.
