Commercial Manager – Leading London Fit Out Contractor – £100k–£120k + Benefits

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Commercial Manager to join a market-leading London fit out contractor, renowned for delivering high‑profile commercial office and life sciences projects. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the commercial function across multiple projects, managing a team of Quantity Surveyors, and ensuring the successful commercial delivery of fit outs, refurbishments, and complex cut‑and‑carve schemes up to circa £20m. This is a chance to step into a leadership role where your expertise will directly influence project success and support the continued growth of a respected contractor.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Commercial leadership of multiple live projects across London
• Manage and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, driving best practice
• Lead procurement, contract administration, and subcontractor negotiations
• Oversee CVRs, cash flow, forecasting, and reporting to the Commercial Director
• Implement robust cost control and risk management strategies
• Lead change management and oversee final accounts
• Work closely with project delivery and client teams to ensure successful outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS in fit‑out/refurbishment
• Experience delivering commercial office or life sciences projects (CAT A & B, cut and carve, refurbishments)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor commercial teams
• Excellent contract knowledge (JCT) and financial acumen
• Ability to influence and lead within a high‑performing environment
