EVG - Commercial Manager

About EVG

Founded in the late 1970s in Worcestershire, EVG has grown from a local produce trader to one of the Midlands' largest farming and packing operations, covering over 5,500 acres. Supplying almost a fifth of the UK's tomato market year-round and ranking as the second-largest spring onion grower, EVG combines large-scale farming with advanced glasshouse technology.

With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability, they provide premium fresh produce to major UK supermarkets and food-service customers while supporting their workforce and local community.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will help drive the commercial growth of EVG's fresh produce categories.

The Role
  • Build and deliver account business plans and forecasts for key retail and wholesale customers
  • Lead seasonal tenders, promotions, and product launches
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, technical, and CSR teams to align commercial strategy with EVG's quality and sustainability ethos
  • Analyse market and category trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Shape customer strategy and NPD activity to support EVG's ongoing ambition
  • Be a commercial champion who thrives in a dynamic, seasonal business where quality and relationships come first
