We are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to join our Yorkshire team, based in Wakefield. The main purpose of the Commercial Manager role is to manage the day-to-day commercial operations for the business with the assistance of the regional commercial team and support the Commercial Director with implementation of the commercial strategy

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee procurement of all necessary trades and materials to deliver regional forecast
  • Carry out monthly commercial review of all current projects with each project surveyor.
  • Preparation of monthly management report for review with Commercial Director.
  • Ensure that all commercial and general Miller Group policies and procedures are complied with by the team.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive experience working in a senior Commercial role with a Housebuilder
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence the decision making process to meet business targets.
  • Able to review and analyse information accurately.
  • Knowledge and experience with software systems used within a Commercial role (Cognos / Anaplan and JDE desirable)
