Are you ready to leverage your commercial expertise in a hybrid commercial / estimating / pricing remit? A leading Facilities Management organisation is seeking a Commercial Manager. This role can be based out of Manchester, Birmingham or London (hybrid). This is a high impact build phase role where you will be fundamental in establishing commercial frameworks, negotiating supply chain terms and utilising data to drive commercial optimisation.

The Role
  • Utilise and manage commercial data to drive decision making, improve performance and support profitability.
  • Lead on estimating and pricing elements for bids and project work.
  • Own contract negotiation processes and develop commercial agreements with suppliers.
  • Build commercial foundations from the ground up in an environment currently without defined T&Cs.
  • Influence and shape commercial strategy similar to a PFI / SPV contractual environment.
  • Lead supply chain negotiation and relationship management.
You
  • Strong commercial contract negotiation experience and understanding of supplier agreements.
  • Experience working in small / SME style environments or greenfield commercial environments where you have built process from scratch not just maintained what is already there.
  • High proficiency in Excel and comfort working with significant data sets.
  • Understanding of T&Cs, commercial structures, and contractual mechanisms (PFI/SPV experience advantageous).
  • A proactive self-starter mindset able to work autonomously and shape the commercial function.
