We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Commercial Manager to join us at Amey, this is a full-time role that offers hybrid working between home and office.

In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for all commercial matters within the account at Amey, working in close collaboration with Project Managers, Finance, and Delivery teams. You'll partner with our finance colleagues to ensure robust cost control across projects and support Project Managers in monitoring budgets and forecasting.

This is a unique opportunity to champion commercial best practices-maximising value while minimising risk and cost for Amey.

What You’ll Do:
  • Robust commercial management of subcontractors and supply chain partners including the preparation, review and evaluation of subcontract enquiries, quotations and payments, final accounts and input to dispute resolution
  • Ensure Applications for Payment are submitted on time and ensure the Company recovers full entitlement for all works and variations.
  • Ensuring timely issuing of all notices required under the Contract(s)
  • Support the CVR reporting process
  • Ensuring compliance with the Amey systems, processes and procedures to deliver post contract management
What You’ll Bring:
  • A strong understanding of commercial reporting and implementation, supported by your excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • A proven track record in a similar role will give you the confidence to be self-sufficient and work on your own initiative.
  • It is desirable you will have previous experience in the civil engineering industry to be considered for this role.
