Job Overview

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to support the Apache Long Term Training and Support Service (LTTSS) contract and, if necessary, provide support into the Chinook portfolio. This full‑time role is based in Bristol with regular travel to Middle Wallop and reports to the Head of Commercial in Boeing Defence UK Limited Vertical Lift. The Commercial Manager will be the commercial focal for contract management and execution, building effective relationships with UK internal functions and the UK MoD customer to support, advise and guide the team in discharging its obligations under the contract and delivering change proposals for key strategic work streams of the overall programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the presentation and development of complex change requests and new business proposals.
  • Exercise appropriate signature authority, negotiate and contract for the sale and support of aerospace products, services and technologies to support company strategies.
  • Manage and report performance against contract KPI’s and incentives.
  • Represent the company in external negotiations and develop effective working relationships with customer counterparts.
  • Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature.
  • Coordinate and partner with other internal functional disciplines, integrating business, finance and programme priorities to balance performance and customer relationships.
  • Summarise complex contractual issues, develop creative solutions and coordinate contractual risk mitigation.
  • Implement and maintain effective commercial governance through internal processes to protect company interest and ensure fully aligned work approaches.
  • Authorise company work and administer contracts and agreements in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Interpret contract requirements, manage changes and resolve conflicts, including intellectual property management.

Security Clearance
