Job description

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking a Commercial Manager for the Buildings Portfolio within the Southern Renewals Enterprise. This permanent role supports a long-term rail delivery partnership across the Southern region.

• infrastructure improvements

The Commercial Manager will lead commercial work across the portfolio, manage risks and pursue project opportunities. Collaboration with clients, supply-chain partners and project teams forms part of the position. The role can be based in Basingstoke, Blackfriars or Gravesend, although regular attendance at meetings in Blackfriars is required.

Gravesend is the location displayed on this posting. The employer seeks senior commercial experience in rail, infrastructure, construction or a related sector. Framework or portfolio experience is advantageous.

Applicants should bring contractual management, reporting, forecasting, risk and change-management experience, alongside experience leading commercial teams. The position is open to an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor moving into a Commercial Manager role or an established Commercial Manager seeking work in a collaborative rail delivery setting.
