Job description

Reporting to Head of New Business and UK Van & Truck (V&T) Director (dotted line). This role operates in the UK B2B market and is responsible for driving UK Vans (LCV) & Truck revenue growth. Delivery of this is in three key areas. 1) Revenue: as well as achieving your personal revenue targets you will assist the UK SME, Corporate and Insurance Sales Teams to achieve their V&T Sales Targets. 2) Portfolio Management: understand and influence the shape, size and performance of the UK V&T B2B customer portfolio. 3) Fulfilment: support and oversee fulfilment of key customer orders and meeting their expectations.

Main objectives:
  • Deliver the UK's 5 Year V&T EBITDA growth strategy and own V&T B2B Revenue budget
  • Deliver personal sales revenue target plus assisting the wider teams to meet their V&T growth targets with a focus on new customer acquisition, order fulfilment and customer retention.
  • Work closely with key departments including, Fleet, Operations, RCM, Marketing as well as working closely with the Europcar station network to drive local V&T revenue growth
  • Identify new geographical, demographic or sector areas for V&T opportunities. Work with New Business teams and local stations to promote V&T solutions.
  • Understand and influence the shape, size and performance of the UK V&T B2B customer portfolio and key underlying KPI's and metrics (i.e average length of hire, RPD, days etc)
  • Play lead role in V&T B2B financial forecasting and budget process working closely with Sales Performance , RCM, V&T as appropriate.
  • Track and understand market performance including but not limited to market share, competitor performance, product & proposition and use this insight to help drive Europcar's growth
  • Clear understanding of customer needs and provide oversight and fulfilment of customer orders, on time and to the appropriate spec.
  • Attend customer prospect meetings and share detailed product knowledge of all LCV Commercial vehicles, including aftermarket equipment and sector specific vehicles (such as Chapter 8 fleet) to aid the closing of V&T deals.
  • Assist customers in the transition to e-vans with a detailed understanding of the products available and our own e-van fleet. Good TCO understanding and the ability to address customers concerns with detailed proposals
Key tasks and responsibilities:
  • Understanding of sales and customer buying cycles (new business and retention)
  • Use your strong sector/verticals industry knowledge to promote Europcar as the go to V&T supplier
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication and CRM skills to inform multiple departments of the V&T Sales pipeline
  • Work closely with your Fleet counterpart in respect of additional equipment being fitted to vehicles and remain informed and involved where needed to facilitate the on-time fitment and compliance of 3rd party suppliers
  • Maintain high responsiveness and high visibility
  • Ensure that CRM is fully updated with all activity
