Salary: £55,000-£75,000 + benefits

Location: Kent (hybrid working with UK travel)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing UK-based technology and services business, delivering high-quality connectivity and managed solutions to enterprise clients across multiple sectors. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial strategy, managing key client relationships, and supporting long-term business growth.

The Role

As a Commercial Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day commercial function, ensuring financial and operational success across the business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align offerings with client needs, provide commercial insight, and implement robust governance across all commercial activities.

Commercial Manager Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies, pricing, and governance frameworks
  • Manage contract drafting, review, and negotiation for enterprise clients
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and profitability across projects and services
  • Support bids, tenders, and proposals to secure new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong client, supplier, and partner relationships
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technical, and Service Delivery teams to deliver client solutions
  • Provide commercial insight and reporting to the board, influencing strategic decisions

Commercial Manager Requirements

We’re looking for a commercially-focused professional who brings:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a commercial management role
  • Proven track record in negotiating and securing enterprise-level contracts
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with P&L awareness
  • Experience drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and collaborate effectively
  • Full UK driving licence and the ability to pass a BPSS background check
Desirable
  • Experience in telecoms, connectivity, construction, or technology services
