Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic commercial professional to join the Commercial Management as a Commercial Manager. The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time as we continue to establish the new Commercial Management operating model within the Customer Team. The Commercial Manager will play an important role within this model, providing commercial support and advice to the Customer Team.

What you will be doing:
  • Building, managing, and maintaining an effective commercial relationship with global customers.
  • Managing the resolution of complex, multi-dimensional customer issues, claims and disputes to minimize cost and risk to the company and to shape innovative financial and business solutions, including drafting, negotiating and agreeing associated commercial settlements and/or contractual amendments as necessary
  • Identifying and assessing potential risks and liabilities inherent in contracts and to propose and negotiate amendments to manage and mitigate such risks or liabilities whilst achieving expected financial returns.
  • Supporting the effective management of profit, cash and debt relating to customer contracts to ensure that financial targets are achieved
  • Managing the development, implementation and sharing of Commercial best practice both within their Sector/Business and across the Company, embedding in local procedures or processes.
  • Manage the interface with specialist departments within the Company to obtain advice and guidance
  • Providing support, guidance, and coaching to other members of the Commercial team and general Commercial advice and support to the wider Customer Service Centre team.
Position Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Ability to solve complex problems while maintaining customer focus.
