Reporting to the Managing Director, the Commercial Manager will work closely with all business units and stakeholders to lead the development and execution of the overarching commercial strategies that will enable Emirates Holidays to achieve its revenue, profit, and growth objectives and targets across both Air and Non‑Air products.

  • Responsible for devising and implementing mid to long‑term strategies to support Emirates Holidays' commercial objectives within the business plan for each quarter of the financial year.
  • Provide commercial insights and support through the anticipation and identification of market trends, competition landscape and constant analysis of rates and pricing to optimise the positioning of Emirates Holidays as a leading tour operator.
  • Prepare and manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements in alignment with business goals and the company's strategic direction.
  • Monitor and analyse performance against commercial KPIs (REV, PAX, Margin, Room Nights, Market Share) and implement proactive corrective measures to mitigate any anticipated shortfalls.
  • Drive new strategic and sustainable growth opportunities, make recommendations and deliver against products and services that would benefit Emirates Holidays in achieving its sales targets.
  • Work closely with Emirates to ensure commercial alignment whilst seeking out opportunities to partner and implement actions which support the growth of both Emirates and Emirates Holidays.
  • Partnering with the Sales, Trade, E‑commerce and Marketing teams, define the channel segmentation strategy to optimise revenue streams, sales conversion and channel contribution whilst mitigating channel shifts and revenue dilution.
  • Ensure regular finance reconciliation scorecard of Budget versus Actuals is prepared and submitted monthly or as required.
  • Collaborate with Product and Contracting teams to ensure sourcing strategies deliver competitive, high‑quality products aligned with Emirates Holidays' standards.
  • Identify and onboard new hotel partners, DMCs, and destination opportunities in line with customer demand and brand positioning.
  • Present commercial reports and insights to internal and external stakeholders to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Qualifications

University degree or diploma/certification in Business Management, Marketing/Sales or any related discipline.

Knowledge and Experience
  • A minimum of 10 years in a middle management commercial role is essential and preferably within the travel industry.
  • Proven experience in a commercial, pricing, or revenue management role within the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance.
  • Experience working across B2C and B2B sales channels, including direct and trade distribution within a tour operating environment.

  • Confident at analysing figures and understands the importance of KPIs to drive profitability goals.
