Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to strengthen its commercial capability and support continued growth across its portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established, forward‑thinking business with a strong presence across Scotland.

Our client is a respected, multi‑disciplinary group operating across commercial real estate, workspace solutions and associated services. Known for its innovative approach and long‑standing reputation for quality, the organisation continues to invest in its developments and service offering. To support this growth, a new Commercial Manager role has been created within the wider commercial function.

Your new role

As Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in managing the commercial operations that underpin major projects, contracts and ongoing services across the group. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure robust commercial practices, effective contract management and strong commercial insight across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing commercial contracts, pricing, and commercial governance
  • Supporting commercial negotiations and supplier/partner agreements
  • Evaluating commercial risks, opportunities and performanceContributing to the development of commercial processes and frameworks
  • Providing commercial input to projects, property transactions and service operations
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across property, finance and operations
  • Supporting the Commercial Director and wider leadership team
What you’ll need to succeed

You will be an experienced commercial professional with a background in property, real estate, construction, infrastructure or a related commercial environment. You’ll combine strong analytical skills with a practical, hands‑on approach to commercial management.

You should demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a commercial management role
  • Strong contract management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent commercial awareness and analytical capability
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong internal/external relationships
  • Experience in property, development or asset‑related commercial activity (preferred)
