About the Role

This is a standout chance for a commercially minded litigator to put their stamp on something new while being supported by a firm with deep roots and a strong reputation. You’ll work closely with the Partners to define the department’s direction, build a client base, and manage a varied caseload including contract disputes, shareholder issues, professional negligence, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Setting up and developing the Commercial Litigation department from the ground up.
• Handling a broad range of high-quality commercial disputes.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Helping to recruit and shape a future team as the department grows.
• Working closely with other departments to cross-refer and collaborate.

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified Solicitor (4+ PQE preferred) with solid commercial litigation experience.
• Someone entrepreneurial with a proactive approach to business development.
• A confident communicator and relationship-builder.
• Prior experience in developing or leading a team (desirable but not essential).
