Commercial Litigation Associates - National
Overview
  • Our client is a Top 100 UK Law firm, who seek to recruit 3 Associates to join their Commercial Litagation team nationally. Office locations include Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester, Norwich and Oxford.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing and conducting commercial litigation cases from inception through to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Support senior lawyers in preparing for hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Engage directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide innovative legal solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in commercial law and procedures.
  • Contribute to the firm's initiatives promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Qualifications
  • Qualified solicitor with 0-5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation within private practice.
  • Strong academic credentials and demonstrable interest in commercial law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.

Day-to-Day
  • Reviewing case documents and preparing drafts for submission.
