A leading fintech company in London seeks a Commercial Officer to drive growth for Embedded Finance products. In this role, you will own the P&L and develop market strategies while leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B payment services, proven leadership skills, and a successful track record in commercial finance. This position requires a hands-on approach with the ability to mentor staff and build strong client relationships. A hybrid working model is expected, commuting to the London office 2-3 days a week.
Kriya is seeking a strategic and hands-on Commercial Officer to lead the next phase of growth for our Embedded Finance products. This is a foundational leadership role where you will own the P&L, define our go-to-market strategy, and scale a high-performing commercial team.
You will balance hands-on deal execution with team leadership, personally closing major agreements while mentoring your team and refining our sales process. Your responsibility spans the entire commercial journey: from acquiring new clients to managing strategic accounts, ensuring we not only win key merchants but also drive their long-term growth. A central part of this role is to build trusted, lasting partnerships with both direct clients and broker partners, solidifying our position as the market's preferred partner.
You will collaborate closely with other teams across the business (including Risk, Compliance and Product) to refine our offering based on market feedback and ensure we stay ahead of the competitive and regulatory landscape. We need a proven leader with experience in launching and scaling complex financial products, who thrives in a high-energy, target-driven environment and is passionate about building and developing talented teams.
