A leading data consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to drive revenue growth and establish strategic client relationships across data services. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development and the ability to influence key stakeholders. This role offers a salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum with flexible and remote working options, alongside a supportive team culture and opportunities for professional growth.
The Commercial Lead is a pivotal role at Intuita, responsible for driving the commercial growth of the consultancy by building and maintaining strategic relationships with clients across the full spectrum of our data services. The Commercial Lead will work to position Intuita as the trusted data partner for businesses, ensuring alignment with client objectives and demonstrating the value of our offerings in Data Excellence, Data Engineering, Data Enablement, and Data Analytics & AI. This role is key in driving revenue growth, developing business opportunities, and positioning Intuita as an industry leader in the data space.Your Key Responsibilities will broadly cover these areas (– with lots in between! ):Spearhead the commercial growth, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing clients across the full suite of Intuita’s data offerings.Develop and own Intuita’s Business Development strategy for both the short term and long term, offering clear, actionable steps to achieve – managing to a pre-defined budget.Establish Intuita as the go-to data partner for businesses, leveraging our expertise in Data Excellence, Data Engineering, Data Enablement, and Data Analytics & AI to solve complex challenges.Develop and drive strategic relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers across a variety of industries, ensuring alignment between their business goals and Intuita's capabilities.Lead the creation of customised solutions for clients, identifying opportunities for business transformation and demonstrating how Intuita’s data services can unlock value.Own the sales process, from generating leads and developing relationships to securing deals and expanding engagements, while ensuring commercial goals and targets are consistently achieved.Instil commercial behaviours in the wider Consultant team through mentorship and more structured training / guidance.Represent Intuita as a thought leader in the data space, attending industry events, speaking at conferences, and contributing to key publications to increase visibility and brand recognition.Collaborate with the marketing team to create content, such as case studies, white papers, and thought leadership materials, that demonstrate the consultancy’s expertise and success stories across the data services spectrum.Build a network of industry contacts and potential clients to continually position Intuita at the forefront of the data and analytics industry.Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to adapt and evolve the commercial approach and service offerings.Provide insights and feedback from the market to influence the development of new services, solutions, and offerings, ensuring that Intuita remains competitive and responsive to client needs.Work closely with internal teams (Delivery, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to ensure seamless alignment between client expectations and service delivery.Coordinate with the practice leaders across Data Excellence, Data Engineering, Data Enablement, and Data Analytics & AI, ensuring that the full range of Intuita’s data services are effectively represented to clients.Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the commercial team to maximise opportunities and revenue.
Proven experience in a commercial leadership role within the data consultancy or technology sector, with a focus on driving revenue and client acquisition.Demonstrated expertise in building strategic client relationships and delivering business development results, ideally within the data services or analytics domain.Strong track record in sales, business development, and partnership management, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.Ability to tailor solutions based on deep understanding of client business needs and match them with Intuita’s broad range of data services.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of complex data services to diverse audiences.Familiarity with market trends and the ability to anticipate and adapt to client needs within the ever-evolving data landscape.Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive for results and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
