Overview

We are supporting a national not-for-profit organisation, established to improve commercial and procurement services across Public Sector organisations who mare are recruiting for a Commercial Lead to drive high-profile procurement and contract management across multiple categories. This is a dynamic, fully remote role offering variety, professional growth, and the chance to influence commercial strategy.

The Commercial Lead is responsible for delivering maximum value via commercial activities, influencing commercial strategy as a commercial and procurement expert, supporting procurement and contract management activities.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare strategic plans, delivering and making recommendations for actions on all commercial/procurement activity
  • Lead complex competitive tenders and supplier negotiations for the supply of goods and services
  • Support key stakeholders creating strong and effective relationships
  • Lead sourcing processes within required timeframes whilst achieving attractive commercial goals
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and social value policies
  • Lead contract and supplier management programmes including supply chain improvement programmes
  • Identify risks and understand risk management
  • Sourcing, implementing and managing new contracts
