Job summary

Lawyers On Demand in London is seeking a Commercial & Corporate Lawyer to join its legal team, focusing on energy sector matters and complex commercial transactions.

You will provide strategic legal advice across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, drafting and negotiating agreements, and supporting regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction).
• Approximately 5-10 PQE with strong commercial and corporate law experience.
• Experience gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both.
• Exposure to the energy, utilities, infrastructure, natural resources, or related sectors would be advantageous.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially focused with the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
• Advising on corporate transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic projects.
• Supporting energy-related projects, infrastructure developments, and commercial initiatives.
• Experience advising on energy, infrastructure, engineering, and construction projects would be highly advantageous.
• Providing legal guidance on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to the sector.
• Managing external counsel where required.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks while supporting commercial objectives.

We are working with a leading organisation within the energy sector seeking an experienced Commercial & Corporate Lawyer to join its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to work on complex and high-profile matters supporting a dynamic and evolving business.

The Role

You will provide strategic legal advice across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and business teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.


• Advising on corporate transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic projects.


• Supporting energy-related projects, infrastructure developments, and commercial initiatives.
