Stockport Nub News is partnering with a well-established independent commercial broker in Stockport to recruit a Commercial Insurance Broker. You will own the full client journey from enquiry to long-term account management, building relationships and delivering high service standards.

The role suits commercially minded insurance professionals with experience across motor trade, road risk, property or liability. Hybrid working post probation and clear earning potential with commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance - motor trade, road risk, property or liability.
• Background in an account handling or executive position.
• Self-motivated, target-driven with a positive attitude.
• Strong communicator on phone and in writing.
• Well organised and able to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Following up on inbound new business enquiries across commercial lines - motor trade, road risk, property and liability
• Fact finding, presenting solutions and converting enquiries into clients
• Managing the full account lifecycle from inception through to renewal
• Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and delivering a high standard of service
• Working as a key part of a close-knit, ambitious team
