Job summary

The Core at Corby Cube in Corby is seeking a Commercial and Customer Experience Manager to lead customer-facing teams, drive venue hire and commercial opportunities, and build strong client relationships. You will shape guest experiences, manage budgets, and ensure safety standards across the venue.

You’ll lead on developing income streams from events and hires, while fostering an inclusive, high-performing team culture within a busy live-venue environment.

Qualifications

• Significant customer service management experience at a senior level in a subsidised/commercial theatre or other similar venue.
• Proven experience in an entertainment/customer driven environment.
• Proven experience in training and dissemination of policies and procedures.
• Managing a team of Customer Service staff and/or volunteers.
• Experience of planning and delivery of Events and Hires.
• Engagement with clients to interpret needs and secure bookings.
• Planning, managing and controlling multiple budgets.
• Experience of managing a bar and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Lead our customer-facing teams, develop venue hire and commercial opportunities, build strong client relationships and find new ways to grow income.
• Oversee the recruitment, training and deployment of front-of-house staff and volunteers, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and monitor customer service standards, policies and procedures across the organisation.
• Drive commercial income through venue hire, events, meetings and other opportunities.
• Ensure Health and Safety policies are implemented and maintained across all areas.
