Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Gas Engineer for a permanent role in Redhill, Surrey. The role covers servicing, maintenance and repairs of domestic and commercial gas systems across the South East, with a focus on schools, hospitals and commercial premises.

You will work with the owner and a senior Commercial Gas Engineer, handling boiler servicing, gas safety checks and responsive repairs, with opportunities for progression and training.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration is highly desirable.
• ACS commercial elements advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in domestic or commercial gas work welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic and commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
• Carrying out boiler servicing, gas safety inspections and compliance checks.
• Undertaking fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
• Responding to reactive callouts including leaks, heating failures and equipment breakdowns.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Supporting installation and upgrade projects across commercial sites.
• Working within schools, hospitals, public buildings and commercial premises.
• Building strong relationships with clients, facilities managers and site contacts.
• Completing service reports and compliance documentation accurately.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Gas Safe and Health & Safety regulations.
