Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the Cambridge area. The role covers servicing, fault finding and repairs in domestic social housing on a Housing Association contract.

40 hours per week, with out-of-hours rota and overtime paid. A van, tools, PPE/uniform and PDA are provided, plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension and private health options.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified commercial gas/heating engineer.
• Experience servicing commercial boilers and gas appliances with fault-finding/repair skills.
• Commercial ACS qualifications incl. COCN1.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out on offer).

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial heating systems.
• Fault finding and repairs on commercial heating systems.
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients.
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
