Qualifications

• Must hold valid commercial gas qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A).
• Experience with commercial heating systems and boilers.
• Experience in retail/commercial multi-site maintenance.
• Multi-trade capability in general building upkeep.
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills; customer-focused.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Flexible mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial boilers and heating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults including lockouts, pressure issues, circulation faults.
• Service and repair gas appliances including warm air units and radiant tube heaters.
• Rectify gas-related issues such as pipework leaks, faulty valves, ignition or pilot failures; troubleshoot control systems.
• Carry out general building maintenance including basic electrical, carpentry, painting, minor fabrication.
• Manage work orders via mobile tech and internal systems; collaborate with planners/store managers; participate in on-call rota.
